SALE OF WORK. A very successful and well-atten-ded sale of work, under the auspiceof the Presbyterian Ladies’ Social Guild, in aid of the church funds, was held in the Aiasonie. Hall yesterday afternoon. Those in change of the various stalls were: Guild stall: Mesdames Downes and Codd; cake stall, Mesdames Alex. Ross, McLaren and Miss Speirs; sweet stall: Miss li. Gpeirs; produce stall: Mesdames Satherley and Thomson; busy bees stall: Mesdames Kennedy and FaJkuerj afternoon tea: Mesdames Alex. Speirs and Alexander. During the afternoon Aliss Phillips contributed a vocal item and Miss Ida Speirs a pianoforte solo.
