The Fox ton Fire Brigade billiard team eoniested with the Feilding brigade for the Colev Billiards Shield last evening, at Feilding, and alter three interesting matches, Die honours lay willi the home team.' Following, were the scores, Foxbm plavers being mentioned first: —TT. Hamer 25. lost to Gaskin 115 j Cartel- lost to Merwood 100; Walls 100 defeated Fisher 82. Totals: Foxlon 158, Feilding 207. The visitors were entertained at .-upper and the usual toasts were honoured. A motion of sympathy to Air Geo. Coley, (the donor of the shield), who is undergoing medical treatment, wns passed. Dancing was then indulged in amt a very enjoyable evening was spent.
