ROYAL PICTURES.
"White Tiger” will be shown at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night. It is a Universal-Jewel screen drama of a trio of international criminals who should-by their exalted rank in crookdom, have achieved the highest standards of honour and good fellowship, in reality they display an utter lack of any human friendship for each other, being merely three clever crooks allied for purely business reasons and ready to shutter their- obligations to each other for the same business reasons and at an instant’s notice. The picture is full of excitement as only a erook picture can be. Comedy “Your Next.’ 1 * On Thursday night “Gimme” will be screened and you should not miss it —it’s out ou its own. Sports Protection League to have the “Daylight Savings Bill” considered during the coining session, at last night’s Council meeting, the meeting was somewhat surprised at repeated and strenuous opposition to a motion in its support by one of the Councillors. When asked his reasons for objection he said that, he worked hard enough, and didn’t want to have to work another hour a day!
