HOPE FOR BLIND.

There is still hope for the blind, according to T)r. Bonnefon,v whose experiments on men blinded in the war have just been made, the subject of a report to the Academy of Medicine. When he read a previous report at the academy,Dr. Bonnefon presented his first successful patient a soldier blinded by shell fire. Following an operation, this man could see with his right eye. Since then the 'doctor has operated on another case, a man blinded just ,-is the war ended, who had never seen two of his children. Several months of persistent treatment restored hm vision, and in a letter which Dr. Bonnefon produces, the man tells of his delight at being able to see his children. Dr. Bonnefon offers to perform his operation for any soldier blinded in the war, after u new medical examination. No doubt the volunteers will be manv.
