SERIOUS CHARGE.

TWO MEN CONVICTED. Dunedin, Yesterday. The second trial of George Arthur Kelly and Richard Pohara Edmonds, who were charged with unlawfully using an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage, was heard to-day before Mr Justie Reed. Both accused were found guilty and the jury strongly recommended the younger prisoner Edmonds to leniency ou account of his youth. Prisoners 'will be sentenced to-morrow morning.
