HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD.
NEARLY 700 CONSUMERS ALREADY SIGNED ON. At yesterday’s meeting of the Horowhenua Power Board, the Engineer reported as follows upon the present position in regard to consumers :—• ' The lotal number of consumers signed up in the Board’s area are: —■' Lighting installations 558 Milking motors 37 Ranges 26 Hot water services 35 Industrial motors 28 During the month 21 installations have been tested and passed for payment. Messrs R. Y. Walls and Co., Ltd. will complete group 1 in the Shannon district this week and have already made a commencement on their Eoxton work.
