LONDON FROZEN MEAT MARKET.
Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have i eceived from their- London agents the following cable, dated the 4th April, 1924; — “Quotations Lew Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/42, Oid; Lorth Island lamb, 28/42, 92d; prime Canterbury- mutton,-58/84* rid; L. island mutton, 58/84, 7id; ewes, 48/04 .ogd. Lew Zealand prime ox beef, 100/220, hind and fores none offering.” These prices are ex-store. As compared with last week’s quotations, there is mure enquiry for lamb whilst the market for mutton is quiet and slightly easier.
