BOARD OF AGRICULTURE.
At a recent meeting of the Board of Agriculture a resolution was passed urging upon the Government the desirability of appointing a piant breeder . This resolution was forwarded to the Horn Minister of Agriculture who has now advised the Board to the effect that arrangements are being made for a plant breeder to take up duty at the iiualuirk' Farm bf instruction in the near- future/- —7^ A draft 1 ’ of a hill to provide for the .and_ registration of o tuitions, was.vsubmitted. j>y the .Department of Agriculture for consideration-. andr-mefe -with the Board’s approval. A. recommendation that uie-Brli be placed on the Statute book bins-’.{-year', 1 -.was' accordingly made to the Hon. Minister of Agriculture who in reply has intimated that he hopes it will be found possible to deal with the medshre during the coming session.
