BOWLING
Four rinks from Feilding visaed Koxton yesterday and had a Aery enjoyable afternoon’s play. Honours were even between the visitors and the local rinks at the conclusion of play, two wins for either side being recorded. The details are as follows:

Ha vie. Qiiavle. Davidson. Bartholomew fs) 31 : Spring. Winstanlev, AVhibley, Smith fs) Iff. A very tasty afternoon tea was presided over by the ladies. At the close of play Mr Bartholomew returned thanks on behalf of Feilding bowlers “for the very tine afternoon they had had,” and said he had previously expressed the opinion at Centre meetings that club visits were far preferable to gala, days. Three hearty cheers were given for local howlers, after which i. chanty “The more We meet Together” was sung. The ladies were also given cheers for the refreshment provided. Air Christie briefly replied stating that next season he hoped to he able to treat visitors lo 1 lie pleasure of a much belter green.
Next Wednesday, weather permitting, Ihe final games of the Wilford Cup contest will he decided.
