The monthly meeting of the Hliove was held in the Methodist schoolroom on Thursday last. Mrs McDonald presided over a fair attendance.

Owing to the date of the next meeting being set down as the Thursday before Good Friday, it was decided to postpone Cradle Roll Day till the May meeting and to ask Mrs Dr. Bry.-on, of Levin, to come over and address the meeting. It was decided to commence the Band of Hope meetings on Friday, 28th insf. Tim following syllabus was drawn up.April: Convention Day. by Mrs Banks.
