Tin* I’nited Sports As'-oeiation’s inaugural meeting- to he held on the local racecourse on Wednesday. April !tth., should attract a large attendance of visitors from all parts of the district. The association consists of representatives of all branches of sport, and the executive cdnnnittee comprises enthusiasts who are out to revive and stimulate all branches of healthy out-door games and exercises. In this connection special events have been set down for the cliidren. The association is indebted to the Foxton Racing (’lull for placing at its disposal the course and appointments which will add to the convenience and comfort of the public, 'flic Foxlon Citizens’ Hand will play seleelions during the day. On the day of the sports. Foxlon will observe a public holiday.
