PROPOSED CARNIVAL.

A public meeting will be held in the Town Hall supper-room on Friday evening next at 7.30 o’clock to further consider the proposed carnival to raise funds for a children’s play-ground in one of the parks and to assist the Band funds. The cornmil tee set up to confer with the Band re a combined effort, will report and an executive committee he appointed. The ladies are especially invited to attend together with everyone who is willing to assist in the deserving proposals.
