Weather permitting, the final round of the Triangular Contest will be played at Foxton to-mor-row. During the week-end considerable work lias been done on the green in anticipation of the fixture and if fine weather prevails, should be in good playing order. The aggregates at the conclusion of the second round were as follows : —Shannon, 6 games, 131 pts.; average 21 5/6. Levin, 6 games, 11 Opts., average, 18 1/3. Foxton, 4 games, 81 pts., average, 20J. It will thus be seen that the result of the contest is still speculative and with good play Foxton has a very

fair chance of annexing the trophy this year. The links as selected will be as follows: — Ball, Pearson, Ale Coll, Admore (s). Mattar, Stohr, Juo. Ross, Roorc (s). _ Simpson, Barr, Huntley, Smith (fi)* . . Thompson, Healey, Christie, Nye (s) • Emergencies: -Howe, Heasmau, Whihley, Walker. Downes, Winstanley. For the past two months or so I lie Committee have been endeavouring to arrange a visit to Feilding green, but have been unsuocssful on account of Club and interclub fixtures. It is now anticipated that the date of such visit will be March sth.. which date only remains to be confirmed by the Fcilding club.
