MAINTENANCE CASES.

At the local S.M. Court yesterday before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M,, J. AlcKnight (Air Bergin) proceeded against W. Baker (Mr Hollngs) for arrears of mantenanee order and Baker applied for a variation of the order.

After hearing evidence the Magistrate sentenced Baker to three months imprisonment, the order to he suspended provided Baker keeps up the payments and 5/- a week off arrears. The application for a variation of the order was refused, costs £2 19/8.

W. Stratford was ordered to pay 5/- per week off the arrears of a maintenance order in default one month’s imprisonment.
