HOROWHENUA (LEVIN) SHOW
Intending competitors at the Horowhemia A. and P. Show to he held nt Levin, on 39th and 31st of January, are reminded that the dosing date for general entries is Saturday next, the 19th inst., hut entries will also he taken up to the 24th inst. The programme of events comprises some very interesting ring competitions, the two chief .jumping events carrying prize money to the value of £25 each. There arc also numerous other coinpHil ions, also shoep tlo<£ trial. The usual classes for cattle, sheep, and nigs are all well catered for in the wav of prize money and should atIracl good competition. There will lie the usual side attractions for both young and old. Judging from the numerous applications received for >c hedules Ibis year entries liinmise to he well up with previous ones, and favoured with fine weather, patrons can rely oil getting
