During the month of December the sum of £1554 10/10 was received and has been placed to .the credit of the following accounts: District Fund £1.528 3/-. Cemetery £2 7/0, Council Chambers £24 9/4.
The ledger balances on the 31st December were:—Imprest Cash £lO. General £923 4/5, House Drainage £l4B 18/11, Reserves £3O 9/2. Town Hall £271 15/9. all at debit, a total of £1,384 8/3. The accounts at credit were:— Cemetery £lO3 11/4, Drainage connections Loan £3OB 16/-, Temporary Deposits £450, Gasworks £495 19/5, Hospital and Char. Aid £27 15/7, Library £lO6 3/8, Sanitation £sl 15/-, Town Hall Pictures £222 i 19/11, Water and Drainage Loan £4O 3/4, Waterworks £SO 2/3. In-. ferest £l7 14/9, a total of 1/3. SUMMARY.
