MANAWATU-OROUA RIVER BOARD.
Notice is given elsewhere in this issue of an election of members for the above-mentioned Board, to be held on Tuesday next. Nominations are published elsewhere also. As the number of candidates in the Makerua sub division does not exceed the number of vacancies, the following have been declared elected members: —Messrs Akers, Bell, and Seifert. Similarly Mr Kenneth McDonald has been elected member to represent the Koputoroa sub-div-ision. The polling booths will be as follows for the other vacancies:— For Kairanga and Oroua sub-divisions; Board's Office, 21 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North. For Moutoa Electors: Office of engineer, Council Chambers, Foxton.
