HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The High Commissioner’s cable, . dated the 29th December, reads:— “Hqmp, Manila market, holiday tone prevails, "but finished' firm. ‘J’ grade, Deeeinbpr-March shipments, sold at £35 per ton, sellers, New Zealand very firm, buyers high point V; v £34, fair £32 10/- per ton.”
