POWER BOARD’S CHARGES. Some time was taken at the Horov.henua Electric Power Board meeting at Levin on Tuesday, over a discussion on the following recommendation in tlie report of the engineer: Street Lighting Outside the borough areas: This matter was brought forward at last meeting—since then T have considered the matter and wonld recommend that the authorities concerned he advised that the rates shall he £3 17/fi per lamp per year for services from sunset to 10.30 p.m.; for services required until daylight the cost of lamp renewals shall he added. The engineer said that lie thought that at first the replacements should be in the hands of the Board, though later the roadmen might he put Oil. The report was adopted, the time for township lighting to he 11 p.m. instead of 10.30 p.m. r
