“PEEP SHOW” TRAGEDY
DEATH OF PHYLLTS PORTER. PARENTS ACCEPT £225 COMPENSATION. Sydney, December 4. In the District Court, William Porter and his wife, Agnes Porter, claimed £SOO compensation under the Workers’ Compensation Act from J.C. Williamson, Ltd., in respect of the death of their daughter, Phyllis, who died as the result of burns received while playing in the “Peep Show” at the Opera House, Wellington, New Zealand, in May last. Early in the case, respondents stated they were willing to pay £225 compensation which was accepted.
