LONDON WOOL SALES
Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 3rd December, 1923: — ‘Wool sales have opened. There is a large attendance of buyers and competition is keen. As compared with the closing rates of the last series Merinos are id per lb. dearer; " ' fine halfbreds, sft/56’s, Id per lb. dearer; halfbreds, . 48/50’s, lfd per lb. dearer; fine crossbreds, 46,/48’s, per lb. dearer;' 'medium do., 44/46’s, Id per lb. dearer; coarse do., 40/44’s, Id per lb. dearer; low do., Id per lb. dearer.”
