On trial for his life is a phrase that carries with it a grim chill. Yet men have been placed on trial for their life for deeds of violence committed because of the demands of their code of honour. This is the situation in which Robert Lee Pitman with the lovely Katherine MacDonald as star, will be shown at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night. This episode is one of the most gripping in this production, full of thrills and unexpected twists, not the least surprising of which is the ' verdict reached by the jury,, at this trial. “White Shoulders,” is exceptionally well staged, the big court room with its grave • proceedings, seems to be a reality. A comedy entitled “Cold Feet” will also be shown. Prices 9d and 1/6, children as usual. On Saturday night Anita, Stewart .will appear in “Her Mad Bargain,” one of her best. Also a Larry Semon comedy entitled “The Agent.” Watch out for “The Shock,” and “Judith of Betliulia.”
