ENTERTAINMENTS.

TOWN HALL PICTURES. “THE LOVE GAMBLER.” Dear Sir (or Madam), —Out of nowhere, riding on the wind bound for the same place, rode Dick Manners. But even those of <ais bound for nowhere may occasionally land somewhere. Dick Manners did. First he landed on —and stayed on —a horse that no man had ever ridden before. Then he landed head over heels in love with a girl no man had ever held for even a fleeting moment. Then he landed on —if you will pardon the slang—the villian. And then he landed the nnlandable girl. It looks like clear sailing with land ahead all around. The hero is John Gilbert and he comes to the Town Hall in “The Love Gambler,” on Saturday night. For your sake, * don’t miss it. —Sincerely yours, ROYAL PICTURES. “The Branding Iron,” starring Barbara CaStleton and James Kirkwood at the Royal Theatre to-mor-row night, is a story in which there \ are dramatic situations and gripping and, powerful scenes.
