SALVATION ARMY EFFORT.
SELF DENIAL RESULT.
The annual self-denial appeal of the Salvation Army resulted in a ■Collection of £46,414 5/10, an increase of £1,848 0/6 on last year’s contributions. For the Central north division' (Brigadier Newby) the totals were:
Totals £6923 4 1£7770 0 7 The Auckland division returned a total of £10,923 10/6, against £ll- - 14/10; Christchurch division, £7,751 against £7,559 last year; and Dunedin divison £8,200, against £8,400 last year.
