Tito sum t it;t t Harold Lowry Pcnnv, accountant. should he awarded till account (if' injuries inflicted by Edward Skevington’s ear in an aoeidont on the Papanui road, was considered by Mr Justice Sim and a jury of 12 in the Supreme Court todav. Plaintiff claimed that he was entitled to £2,131 IDs 4d. Defendant, who admitted linbiltv, paid £750 into Court and pleaded that it was sufficient and satisfactory. The jury returned a verdict for £1,290 3s 4d, being- £024 3s 4d special .damages, and £075 general damages.
