In regard to a recent complaint affecting the administration of the Palmerston North Public Hospital, the Kiwitea County Council wrote to the Palmerston North Hospital Board, asking for a public enquiry into the allegations. Cr. A. C. Morton asked a question at yesterday's meeting of the Council as to whether a reply had been received from the Board. He pointed out that the County contributed £2,000 per annum, and should demand a 1 cply. Councillors, generally, agreed that the Council should not he ignored on the matter and it was decided to write asking for a reply to the Council’s letter.
