MOTORIST CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER.
Christchurch, Last Night
Arising out of the death of Aliss Julia Carboy, who died as the result of injuries received in a collision between a ear and a gig on the North Lobum road on September 20th, a charge of manslaughter was laid against Louis Pain, the driver of the gig, at the conclusion of the inquest, held at Rangiora • to-day, the coroner, Air Wyvern Wilson, finding that accused had" caused Aliss Carboy’s death by driving without lights. Accused was remanded on bail fill October 23rd.
