BOGUS DETECTIVE.
FINED £5 OR A MONTH. Christchurch, Last Night. In the Magistrate’s Court, Joseph Nieholls was fined £5, in default a month’s imprisonment, for stating that he was a detective. Accused said,he did it for a joke, but the Magistrate said that a man with such a list of previous convictions must have had some ulterior motive. A
