HASTINGS JUBILEE CELEBRATED.
Hastings, October 15. Carnival week, to mark the jubilee of Hastings, opened this morning with : an historical procession and' other festivities. The streets SSTjFKjdecorated, and crowded with wHjKseers. There was a large inof visitors. Luncheon was given to veterans and early settlers, and was largely attended. The Hawke’s Bay Show will be held on Wednesday-and Thursday, and the jubilations continue all the week.
