FOXTON SWIMMING CLUB.

A general meeting of members of file above was held in Perrean’s rooms last night, between 40 and 50 being in attendance. The programme for flie swimming carnival was discussed and arranged. The date decided on was November I4tb, and nominations for events to rinse on November 7th. It was derided that school boys’ nominations be free. Eeolved in issue club badges at Is fid each. Resolved that timber be procured for chute, and Air E. Cunningham offered to dress the boards for same.

Mr Banks -congratulated the members on the formation of the Club, and spoke of the benefits to be derived in the art of swimming. It was decided to thank donors, and several matters in connection with the opening programme were decided upon.
