CLAIM AGAINST PICTURE PROPRIETARY.

Christchurch, Last Night. In the Supreme Court, Robert Eagle, a labourer, sued the New Zealand Picture Supplies, Limited, for £750 damages for injuries received through falling into a cellar, at a Christchurch picture theatre. He attended a session, and admitd'oze'd in his seat.' On getting up, lie opened a door which he thought led to a convenience, and fell into the cellar. His injuries included the loss of the sight of ,one eye, The defence was that plaintiff was intoxicated, and used, a door that was obviously not intended for the use of the public. The case is proceeding. •
