THE PRINCE IN CANADA.
DEPUTATION OF UNEMPLOYED HARVESTERS. Ottawa, October 4. When about to leave Winnipeg for Ottawa the Prince of Wales received a delegation from unemployed British harvesters, who had remained in Manitoba following the harvest. They told the Prince that they could not live on the low wages paid on farms during the winter and preferred to return to Britain. The Prince promised to consult the. Governor-General and also the railway officials, in regard to planning remunerative employment.
