THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:— The indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale prevailing. Weather cloudy to overcast; heavy rains to be expected, with rivers Hooded, and the night will probably be very cold. Barometer rising soon. Seas heavy, tides moderate.
