ROYAL PICTURES. On Wednesday night the great stage success “Trimmed m Scarlet,” will appear at the Royal, the theatre of attractions. For the production of this picture one of the greatest casts yet grouped together was selected and some of the stars mentioned are such players as Knthlyn Williams, Roy Stewart, Lucille Ricksen, Robert Aguow and David Torrance. The picture is taken from the play by William Hui’lbut and was directed by Jitck Conway. It’s a big, vital drama built on truths that strike a responsive chord in the hearts of all. On Thursday night Air Eric Harrison who appeared here some time iigo in the play “Scandal,” will appear personally and in the film “The Key to the World,” during the sereening of which lie will wear the actual clothes in which lie appears in the film, and also sings two numbers specially written for this production, besides a musical comedy interlude as played by him in London Hippodrome and numerous other places’. On Friday the hero of “The Four Horsemen,” Randolph Valentino, appears in “Stolen Moments.” DOROTHY DALTON AT CARARET. ______ One of the biggest favourites in filmdom, Dorothy Dalton, will np pear at the Town Hall Cabaret tomorrow evening in her latest film: “Dark Secrets.” The story deals with the wilful daughter of wealthy parents who falls in love with a British army officer and who, through an accidental fall from a. horse, becomes paralysed and is thrown into the hands of an Egyptian dortor. The picture has an exotic background, the locale of the story being divided bet ween Cairo, Egypt, rich in Oriental colour, and Loiqlon with its fashionable homes of Hunch. Supporting items include a At array Comedy, a Gazette and Travelogue. Cabaret, prices.
