BOWLING.
A vry satisfactory “bee” assembled at the local green yesterday afternoon, and good work was accomplished in the way of rolling and Putting tbe green and cleaning tbe banks, preparatory to opening day. A meeting of the Bowling Club Committee was held last evening, when it was decided that October 10th be tbe date on which tbe local green be officially opened.
