TREASURER’S STATEMENT. During the month of August the sum of £1225 9/1 was received and has been placed to the credit of the following accounts: —District Fund £723 9/1, Cemetery £2, House Drainage Loan £SOO. The ledger balances on the 31st of August were:—lmprest Cash £lO, General £BIO 8/9, Reserves £59 13/5. Sanitation £23 10/6, Town Hall £35 17/3, Interest £213 13/2, all at debit, a total of £1,153 3/1. The accounts at credit were:— Cemetery £97 12/-, Drainage Con. Loan £532 6/-, Temporary Deposits £450, Gasworks £202 15/10, Hospital and Char. Aid £4O 16/9, House Drainage £7O 7/3, Library £lO5 4/3, Council Chambers £293 15/4, Town Hall Pictures £37 7/9, Water-and Drainage Loan £62 19s / 6d, Waterworks £65 18/7, a total of £1,959 3/3.
