ITALY DEFIES LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
The League of Nations has been asked by Greece to intervene in the dispute with Italy, but its authority to act has been questioned, and Italy has announced that it will not accept the League’s decision. Lord Robert Cecil, however, declares that there is no doubt about the competency of the Council in the present situation, and says the League must and will do its duty.
