A TRAGIC OCCURRENCE.
COUNCILLOR DIES AT MEETING. Dunedin, Yesterday. There was a tragic occurrence at the meeting of the Clutha County Council, at Balclutha to-day, when Councillor George Bunn, representative of the Clydevale riding, suddenly collapsed in hs chair at the Council table and died within five minutes, of heart failure. The deceased was a new member of the Council, having been returned at a by-election a few months ago. It is understood he had been under treatment for heart trouble for some months past.
