TIMARU LOAN POLL.
PROPOSALS CARRIED.
Timaru, August 22,
Voting took place to-day on three loan proposals by the borough Council, amounting to £48,00!) for the purposes of improving the water reticulation, kerbing and channelling and sewerage system recently added to the suburb. The poll was a light one, but each proposal was carried by a large majority.
