PENALTY FOR FAILING TO DRILL. Auckland, August 22. Two young men, Edward Lewis Ellis and John Rigg, were deprived of their civil rights'” for ten years for failing to attend drill. Ellis has been twice previously fined. Rigg has been fined once before.
