“THE ROUGH DIAMOND.”
This virile production under the banner of William Pox will be screened at the Town Hall to-night. Quite apart from the cowboy pie- - ture, the scene is first of all laid in a travelling circus and some quaint glimpses of circus life are shown. The scene shifts when Tom accepts the post of generalissimo in a rebel army. Then the cork came out and the valuable fluid was spilled, so to speak. A Sunshine comedy is in support entitled “Holding the Line. Priees are as usual. On Tuesday the Metro special “Broadway Rose” ? will be screened. ROYAL PICTURES. William J. Locke is the author o y “An Old World Romance.” whiei. comes to the screen under the title of “The Song of the Soul." with Vivian 'Martin in the leading role, and which is shown to-night at the \ Royal Theatre. The picture is set I in the actual locale of the story with the gloomy swamps of Florida looming largely in the background. The extraordinary settings in this backwater country where the tree covered wastes are only now and then shot with sunlight. i> infested with alligators which are seen in the picture being bandied like tame animals.
