VOLUNTEER FIRE BRBIGADE.
ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Fox ton Volunteer Fire Brigade was held ar the lire station «»n Tuesday evening last. Superintendent McDermid presiding and there was a >d attendance of firemen. The following motions were ea - ried: That the Board be urged to procure a billiard table for the use of members and that the Brigade pledges itself to pay £SO on purchase of same, the payment to be spread over a period of two years. The balance sheet was held over, until audited. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Senior foreman: Fireman Wilson; junior foreman: Fireman Mathers; election of management committee, held over; soeial committee, Firemen Deputy Nattrass, Perreau, Pearson, Wilson and Ross.
