FOXTON BOWLING CLUB.
Energetic “working bees” held on the local green during the past few weeks have resulted in a good amount of work being done both in top-dressing the green and in widening the croquet court. There still remains to be done n portion of the top-dressing and other minor improvements, and this will be proceeded with to-morrow afternoon, when it is hoped a good muster of workers will he present. It has been suggested that, the work of laying sewerage pipes should be carried out before the finishing touches are completed in connection with the work now being done and this matter will probably be dealt with immediately, by the Committee. Members of the Committee are advised that a meeting will be held at flic green on Wednesday afternoon at 4.30 o’clock.
