COMMITTEE MEETING

A committee meeting of the local associated sports bodies was held in the Town Hall meeting room last night. Present: Messrs W. T. Jewell (in the chair), Thomson, Austin, Parkin, Neylon, Robinson, Ogilvy, (secretary), A. E. Green, and R. MeMurray (assistant secretary). The business of the meeting was to draw up rules and regulations governing the newly-formed association. Copies of different sports bodies rules were submitted to the meeting for perusal. It was finally decided that the two secretaries draft the rules and submit them to the next committee meeting, to be convened by them at the completion of this work. The month of February was fixed for the month in which the annual meeting is to be held, but the date for the initial meeting is, as yet, undecided. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the meeting.
