ROYAL PICTURES
Joe Plant, the well-known English jockey, having won some 300 races has now achieved fresh glory by riding "Kissing Cup" to victory as Bob Doon in the latest British production, "Kissing Cup’s Race” which is to be screened at the Royal Theatre to-night. Joe’s prowess on horseback at forty miles an hour is exhibited in a series of sensational "close-ups” taken from a high speed motor car. Extra, “Robiusoe Crusoe.” Prices Dd and 1/6, plus tax, children 3d and 6d. As good as a Wild West Show are the impromptu stunts performed by Will Rogers and other cowboys who are starred in "Cupid the Cow-pun-cher,” to he screened on Monday night. Don’t miss seeing this exciting picture. Thursday next “The Orphans of the Storm” will be agaiu screened.
“OATH-BOUND.” Under this heading that talented actor Dustin Farnurn, will be seen in the Fox production “OathBound," at the Town Hall to-night. The story is that of a ship owner who attempts to capture a band' of smugglers and river pirates. Much mystery surrounds the identity of the “dock rats” and scenes showing them making off with their plunder are more than exciting. A speed boat race between “Miss Los Ange- < les 11,” William Farnum’s speed boat which won the Paeiiie coast trophy, and “Rip,” is a real thriller. Also see the hydro-plane race. Prices are as usual. On Tuesday the big special “The Woman in Chains” will be screened.
