PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the local branch of the Plunket Society was field on Monday afternoon, Mrs A. Ross presiding. Present: —Mesdaines Wyilie, Christie, Trueman, and McMurray (hon. secretary). Apologies from Mesdames Austin, F. iiobinsou, Walton, Pearson and McDonald were received. An account for printing, 6s 6d, was passed for payment. The Nurse’s report was as follows: —“Visits to Foxton, 4; adults’ visits to office, 29; babies brought to office, 31; total, 60. Visits to homes, 10; new cases, 1. Letters and cards posted, 5. Emulsion given away, 3 lbs.” The collection box contained 2s 9d.
