FOXTON BOWLING CLUB.

All members of the Bowling Club able to make it convenient, are asked to attend at the green to-mor-row afternoon for the purpose of a “working bee” to continue topdressing operations. The soil for this purpose is now on the club’s grounds and it is desired that the work should be proceeded with without delay, in the event of the green being too damp to carry out this work, the excavation of the bank for the extension of the croquet court will be continued. Last week a “bee’’ carried out good work iu this connection, the suitable spoil from the excavation being used to Lop-dress the green. All those at all enthusiastic for the welfare of the club are asked to attend tomorrow and ’‘do their bit.”
