MISSING BANKRUPT.

CREDITORS LEFT LAMENTING. Auckland, Last Night. " At a meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of George Morris, the bankrupt builder who disappeared, it was reported that the exact debts were not known yet, but the claims so far lodged total £3,556 all unsecured, in addition to heavy liens against various contracts. After giving details of the contracts so far ascertained, the Official Assignee, Mr Fisher, said that so far as he could see, there wasn’t a “braes farthing” for the ordinary creditors. It was simply a question of the lienholders fighting it out among themselves. The meeting adjourned sine die to resume when bankrupt’s whereabouts are discoved.
