FIRE AT SEASIDE.

LANGLEY’S BOARDING HOUSE destroyed. Shortly after 9 o’clock last night: a retted ion was noticed in the direction of the seaside. It was subsequently ascertained tlin't Langley’s boardinghouse was. in flames. The buildings was occupied by the Misses Hinchlcy and owned by Mr Geo. Langley. There was no one in the house at the time of the outbreak and the origin of the fire is a mystery. The insurances are not yet available. The alarm was given on the local fire hell but as the conflagration is outside the local fire area the brigade was not summoned. The Superintendent and four firemen, however, went down to watch that the flames did not spread. This is the second fire at the seaside within a few weeks, the previous fire destroying All Saints’ Children’s Home.
