CORRESPONDENCE.
Sir,- —Now that Easton Park is being used as the convincing ground for big football, it is time the Borough Council erected a dressing shod for the players and shelter for the spectators. At the Athletic Park in Wellington a long shed is used with raised seals and 1 something similar could be erected here without much cost. T don’t know lioav much rent the Rugby Union pay the Council for the ground, bill if the shelter was erected, a majority of the spectators would pay fid each for the convenience and this would supplement the rent and assist to pay for its erection. Another thing, it is a- cry unfair to the players avlio provide the sport to have to travel away from the grounds before they get a rub-down and a change. of clothes. Hoping some one else will take this matter up. —I am, etc. RUGBY. Correspondence by Hr McMurray in reply to Air G. C. Coley, in reference to local shipping is held over until next issue.
